FAQ
i have a young child that screams all the time! Can I still do a photoshoot?
Of course—we’re very used to it! No toddler loves having their photo taken for a full hour, and we completely understand. If your little one starts to feel overwhelmed or grumpy, we naturally shift to poses where Mom and Dad are holding them to help bring comfort (and smiles!) back quickly.
That said, we do recommend booking a full family session rather than a mini. Sometimes, 20 minutes simply isn’t enough to allow toddlers time to warm up, reset, and feel happy and relaxed in front of the camera. A full session gives us the flexibility to work at your child’s pace and capture genuine, joyful moments.
What if the weather is bad on the day of our session?
No worries! There’s plenty of availability in my calendar to reschedule your session. Simply reach out via email or phone, and we’ll work together to find a new date in your preferred season—so your photos can still happen exactly when you want them.
Will you edit out my wrinkles?
At Soph Fulk Photo, we value a natural approach to photography. What is in front of the screen is what we capture aside from light touch ups including redness, harsh lighting or sweaty facial appearance. Unfortunately, if you are looking for wrinkle removal or other blemish removal services, that would be better found in another photographer.
Where should I take maternity/newborn photos?
Maternity photos almost always take place in a studio! If not, they look amazing in a garden or in the home! newborn sessions occur in the family's home or a local Columbus studio! One year milestone photos usually occur in a studio, field, or garden! Finally, family photos often take place in an alleyway, garden, field, or downtown!
