Newborn Package
This package includes a three hour newborn photo session, 1 photographer, and an online gallery with 100+ high-resolution edited images available for download and sharing. It's perfect for capturing solo newborn shots of baby in unique, natural poses. Other photos during this session include photos of the whole family, older siblings, baby details, etc. Newborn sessions are often photographed in studios or in home! The sessions is 3 hours long to ensure plenty of time for feeding, napping, specific posing, and a calm environment.

What should I wear? What should baby wear?
For a maternity session, we recommend that you wear something tight, capturing the natural beauty of pregnancy! Some people like to keep it more casual with jeans and a tank, but it's really whatever you're most comfortable in! For a newborn session, we recommend that the baby wear something unique to themselves, a color you love on them, or something timeless and simple.
During a newborn session, how do you pose the baby?
Sophie takes a very natural approach to posing during a newborn session. She ensures that the baby is comfortable and relaxed. Photos are not necessary the stereotypical baby in a basket. They are more of a natural, lifestyle based image. Family photos at a newborn session are very candid, homey, and just natural day-to-day life focused.
Where do these photos take place?
Maternity photos almost always take place in a studio! If not, they look amazing in a garden or in the home! newborn sessions occur in the family's home or a local Columbus studio! One year milestone photos usually occur in a studio, field, or garden! Finally, family photos often take place in an alleyway, garden, field, or downtown!
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
You will NOT be charged a travel fee for your package unless the location of the photos is over 70 miles from Columbus, Ohio! If your session is further than this, a $50 travel fee will be applied.
